Welcome to the UP Bonsai Garden Meditation Center, an affiliate of Zen Center Manila.
At the UP Bonsai Garden Meditation Center, we view introducing Zen and Mindfulness to the public as a service we offer to the community, regardless of whether or not you decide to continue with us after your initial visit. Our teaching and methods are focused on two principles: providing a venue for personal spiritual development and familiarizing people with standardized Zen training practices, protocols and etiquette.
Welcoming diversity, the practice of Zen is available here to people of any or no religious affiliation, race, nationality, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, and physical ability. The Zen way is open to all who have a sincere desire to try it. We are always happy to welcome anyone who would like to join us.
Interested in Zen? The easiest way to begin a meditation practice and find out if it’s for you is to contact us. Let us help you get started. We’re here to answer your questions about the UP Bonsai Garden Meditation Center & Zen Center Manila’s programs and to support your practice however we can. Please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’d be glad to hear from you.
